Final Wave of Games En Route!

Dearest Shepherds,

Goats have been popping up around the globe.  Photos have come in from games in Sweden, Japan, the USA, even as far away as Australia.  Ironically, those of you who have had to wait the longest have been our fellow Canadians!  

Today, we received word that the Canadian games have been handed over to the postal service, and that some have even arrived already.  With this news, we have officially entered into the end of our campaign fulfillment!  It has been a fun and crazy ride.  Thank you so much for being with us every step of the way!

For those who opted for local pickup in the Toronto area, Jon will be delivering your games over the course of the next week.  For those who provided your address, he will be dropping it off to you directly.  We will contact those of you who did not to make arrangements.  If you have questions, please e-mail us directly at [email protected]. 

We offer our humble apologies for the fits-and-starts of the process since the end of the campaign.  We had a lot to learn, and have done our best to minimize the impact it had on you as our supporters.  Please know that we accept full responsibility for having to learn our way through making this game a reality, and are open to any feedback you may have for us as we plan our future products.  And, believe us, there's a lot that we have planned!

Attention Canadians!

Good morning, Shepherds!

We've received several inquiries from our fellow Canadians about their games.  Your games are on their way!  Unfortunately, because we are also in Canada, your games were lumped in with our inventory shipment.  They must first arrive in the Mississauga warehouse, where they will be repackaged and sent out to you.  We have an inquiry into the progress of the games in making their way to us now.  We apologies for the delay, and understand your frustration as others report receiving their games.

The good news is that, having learned this lesson the hard way, we have arranged things so that such delays will not happen in the future!  From now on, any orders made through our web store will be fulfilled at the same place as everyone else's.

We apologize for this turn of events.  If you have concerns, please continue to reach out to us and we'll discuss them with you on a case-by-case basis.

You Grabbed Your Goats!

We've been thrilled to see some of you posting photos of your games arriving in the mail.  We've even heard a report of at least one heated dispute over a game too-swiftly-won!  Yes: it is possible to win in as few as two turns!  In our experience, players get a bit more aggressive when they play the next game ;)

Yesterday afternoon, Russ took some time to go step-by-step through an entire game of Grab Your Goat!, touching on the rules and giving some helpful tips as you start to play your first few games!  We expect you'll soon be fluent in all of the game mechanics, and maybe even tweak the game with some house rules of your own!  Have questions? Hey Shepherds!

We received word that Gamerati has begun shipping out your games today.  Please check the e-mail you provided for details on the shipment. For those outside of the continental United States, we have been told there will be the typical delays due to international postal service.

For those in the Greater Toronto Area who opted for local pickup, we will be in contact with you by e-mail once the games arrive in Canada.

This is a quick update to let you know that the games have arrived at their North American fulfillment center, and will soon be on their way to you!  In the coming weeks, they will be repackaged for direct shipping to you and sent out around the globe.

For those who opted for local pickup in the Greater Toronto Area, we will be contacting you directly once the games have arrived in Toronto.  It is likely that this will take a bit longer than for those who opted for direct shipping.  If you have questions or concerns, please write us at [email protected] so that we can ensure they are addressed.
